TC Print Media Lab was started out of a desire both to equip the residents of Teen Challenge (Singapore) with practical skills and to provide an outlet for expression of creativity.

Recently, David Lee, our volunteer since 2018, together with our resident Melvin (pseudonym), conducted a t-shirt designing and printing workshop for interested residents. Through the workshop, besides practical skills such as usage of graphical software and transferring of designs onto the t-shirt, the residents also took away a t-shirt personally designed by themselves. Many of them felt accomplished wearing t-shirts that uniquely belong to them.

This is one of many programmes through which we seek to equip and empower our residents to become contributing members of the society.

Besides t-shirts, TC Print Media Lab is also fitted with equipment for mugs, tote bags, books, and printing on other such materials. Teen Challenge (Enterprise), the social enterprise arm of Teen Challenge (Singapore), also accepts orders for customised printing of t-shirts, mugs, and other collaterals at no minimum quantity.
