The Teen Challenge Enterprises (TCE) is the business, skill development and employment division of Teen Challenge Singapore. We are committed to assist our residents to effectively and responsibly re-integrate into society via being trained and gainfully employed. Our current services are TC Movers, TC Kopitiam, TC Projects and TC Media. We also provide small scale renovation, lawn maintenance, recycling, and house painting. The profit of the TCE projects is donated to Teen Challenge (Singapore) in an attempt to move towards self-help and self-sufficiency and also to provide sustainable employment for our beneficiaries.

For the past 30 years, Teen Challenge has proactively reached out to contemporary youth and drug addicts to assist them through residential intervention, and recovery & reintegration. Over the years we have attempted various business/social enterprises to assist in skills training, employment opportunities and reintegration for our beneficiaries.

Primarily, this new business initiative is an ongoing expansion of Teen Challenge’s own social enterprise endeavours to:

• Enhance its philosophy of a “self-help” policy as the proceeds of the project will go to fund the operational activities of the Halfway House and other TC programmes.

• Serve as a training ground for its beneficiaries to learn new skills and to cultivate good working attitudes and character before they go out to be formally employed.

• Provide job opportunity for many of our beneficiaries to be employed and earn a living, gain sufficient employment experience in order to position themselves well for future and better paying opportunities in the job market. As the business picks up TC employs its beneficiaries on a part-time and full-time basis too.

• Change the perceptions of the public towards former drug addicts and offenders.

Our main goal in the rehabilitation programme is to train our beneficiaries who walk through our doors to become useful citizens and to continue in their quest for education, skill development, entrepreneurship, and job & career advancement.

Another milestone was created in Teen Challenge with the formation of Teen Challenge Enterprises Ltd as a non-profit company. The objectives of the enterprise are:

1. To empower our beneficiaries with the necessary skills and experiences for possible job placements or to be self-employed entrepreneur in order that they may be able to support themselves and their family members' financially.

2. To operate a viable concern such that it is able to sustain its operation as well as to fund the initial start-up capital needs of the various business set ups.

3. To channel its profits to support the General Fund of Teen Challenge (Singapore)


Our Services include:

1) TC Movers - We provide efficient and fast house and office removal service... something we have been doing for many years. Following are our preferential rates:
- $220 per lorry load
- $20 per staircase
- dismantle & fixing of items is $30 and above
- Piano : $80 and above
- Items that need special care such as marble table, antique furnitures; glass showcase : $30 above (including wrapping) per item
- packing : $100 and above

2) Disposal - $300 per lorry load

3) Painting - Residential and Commercial Quotation for residential :
    3 room $500 - $700
    4 room $900 - $1200
    5 room $1200 and above

4) Lawn Maintenance - $50 and above

5) General Maintenance & Cleaning Services - $50 and above (on site quotation)

6) Dismantling Partitions - on site quotation

7) Introducing TC MEDIA - A newly established social enterprise that will be able to provide Multi Media and Video/DVD Services as well as Digital Media Printing when it is fully established and operational.
